Deadringer is a first-person perspective racing game set in the future where you have to drive an armored skimmer in a ring made up of several parts to survive and compete against other competitors. The ring is made up of four parts with an inner and outer edge, the outer being the most dangerous to drive, but competitors can drive anywhere they wish. A timer counts down and you have to stay on the track when it reaches zero to win the race. As you drive various objects such as walls, gates and mines appear, as well as the other competitors, but you are armed with a cannon that shoots forward and follows the ring. You can take a lot of hits, but if you hit an object you lose one of your three lives. A warp gate also appears that moves you to another part of the track.
