A nice puzzle by Alexei Pajitnov, famous for being the creator of Tetris.
The goal of Magnetic Crane is to place the bogeys of the train in the correct order before time runs out. Each level starts with the caboose and bogeys jumbled in a pile, and you must use the Magnetic Crane to lift the bogeys, rotate them, and place them in the correct order. The trick is that the caboose doesn't stand still: it will come out as long as there is no obstacle on the rails, so this requires you to block it with something first while you sort the other wagons.
Magnetic Crane is only a 'light' puzzle in the sense that you usually have a large playing field to play with (although the higher levels get quite difficult), and it is not so much a 'puzzle' (i.e. a given problem) per se as a puzzle of sorts. This makes the game ideal for children who are learning to recognize shapes and not for puzzle fanatics. As an interesting early game by Pajitnov, Magnetic Crane is worth a look.
