Dino Trilogy

Windows 1997
Dino Trilogy, initially released in 1997, was a series of software games by Berman Technology and MECC that was inspired by the classic 'DinoMania' video game of the late 1980s. With this game comes three compiled titles, including Dino Spell, Dino Match, and Dino Paint. Each of these titles has its own elements and allows the players to make their own unique experience. Dino Spell is an educational puzzle title; players are tasked with completing a pre-determined number of levels, with each level having a variety of words and phrases that the player must deduce, spell, or fill in the blanks of. The more levels the player completes successfully, the more difficult the puzzles become — making this particular game great for players looking to test their knowledge. The other two titles, Dino Match and Dino Paint, take a more artistic bent compared to Dino Spell. Dino Match allows players to fit various vivid images into pre-set shapes and indicates if the player is successful or not by also adding a visual message. With Dino Paint the player has complete creative control and is able to draw and design whatever their heart desires with a variety of tools, like pens, colors, backgrounds, and new shapes. What really makes Dino Trilogy so great, however, is the idea of customization. Players are able to save up to 10 paintings or puzzle pieces, store favorites, use the ‘Scrapbook’ feature to remember their favorite game levels, and even generate a certificate after the completion of their pieces. This allows the players to truly make this game their own. Dino Trilogy is the ideal game for players of all ages who are looking for a unique gaming experience, different from the norm. From completing puzzles to creating works of art, this game offers something for everyone and encourages them to think critically and creatively. Whether you’re an adult or a young child, this classic game is sure to keep you engaged throughout the entire experience.
