Bomb Busters
Bomb Busters is a variant of the arcade game Bomb Jack, a single-screen platformer in which the player must collect a series of bombs. At any time, one of the bombs will flash, meaning that it is active and will soon explode. Picking up these active bombs is worth more points, but it is risky because if it is within the blast radius, the player dies. In this version, the player character does not fly, but can move vertically using a jetpack. Exploding bombs, as well as a variety of enemies that are deadly when touched, are on the move. Various bonus items can be collected: B for score, P for Pacman-like invincibility, and L for extra life.
The game also features an unusual two-player mode in which two players work together to control a single character. Operation can be configured before starting the game. Each player can be responsible for a different part of the operation. For example, one player moves to the left and the other to the right. It is also possible to configure two players to do the same thing at the same time. For example, to jump, two players can press the jump button at the same time.
