Touch 'N' Go

Amiga 1994
Touch 'N' Go was released in 1994 by Cloud 9 Interactive and ran on the popular Commodore Amiga system. It was an absolute sensation of a game and is remembered fondly by many to this day. Touch 'N' Go was one of the few flagship car racing games for the Amiga at the time. It differed from other racing games in its genre in that it put a unique emphasis on tight corners and good drift techniques. It also contained a surprisingly challenging AI, something which has since become the standard for the long-running racing game series. The gameplay in Touch 'N' Go was thrilling and fast-paced. Players had the opportunity to choose from 30 tracks set in exotic locations across the globe. These tracks had their own unique and exciting settings, ranging from a magical desert to the icy slopes of the Northpole. The wide range of cars on offer provided some tactical depth to the game as well, allowing players to select from a variety of driving styles to suit their preferred setting. The graphics of Touch 'N' Go were highly impressive for the time, and the game certainly stood out from the competition due to its unique visual style. Not only was the game filled with detailed textures and vibrant colors, but it featured some truly remarkable 3D effects, something which hadn't been seen on the Amiga platform at that time. Touch 'N' Go was a smash hit at the time of its launch and quickly became one of the most popular car racing games on the Amiga. It also managed to stand the test of time and still remains a classic game to this day. Due to its innovative level design and solid car physics, this little-known gem can still provide hours of entertainment for Amiga fans.
