The A-Files
The A-Files is an educational 'learn by playing' game. As an alien life form, the player visits planet Earth to learn the English language. The game begins by selecting one of six available human bodies. By exploring six areas of life (such as shopping, eating out, housework) in London, the player will encounter dozens of tasks. Some of the tasks are presented as mini-games, such as discovering all pairs of objects, planting flowers in the right place or selling the right sports equipment, other tasks are presented as conversations or interactive walkthroughs, not strictly related to games. For each good answer the player receives energy points, each bad answer lowers the level. After several bad answers in a row, the player must pass a special test of the earth police against aliens. Failure ends in jail.
The A-Files is fully digitized, allows the use of a microphone and has a built-in knowledge encyclopedia, English to Scandinavian translator and selected phrase reader.
