Upon starting the game, players were treated to a vibrant and cheery world, consisting of vivid cartoon graphics, and a peppy soundtrack that evoked the feeling of nostalgia and merriment. Yearn2Learn is a puzzle game, aiming to challenge players while entertaining them with humorous dialogue and messages from the characters. Furthermore, it teaches basic math and spelling skills.
In this game, Charlie Brown provides players with a coloring book, asking for assistance in completing its pages. As each page is completed, puzzles are unlocked, providing even greater challenge and engagement to the user. By solving these puzzles, players gain 'stamps' which enable them to progress through the game.
The length of the game is designed to allow both experienced and casual gamers to complete it without feeling overwhelmed. A variety of difficulty settings are also offered to give a level of customization. As with most classic computer games, Yearn2Learn also featured both single-player and multi-player options.
A hallmark of this title was the charming use of language. Snoopy and the gang often interacted with players in punny, entertaining ways, giving insights into their characters throughout the game. This endeared the game to many players, making the title not only one of classic gaming's timeless fun but also a hit with those who were addicted to collecting Peanuts memorabilia.
Yearn2Learn was a unique game that struck at the heart of many players. The attention to detail and warmth of the graphic style and characters in the game made it stand out from other computer titles released at the time. Yearn2Learn: Master Snoopy's Math
Yearn2Learn: Master Snoopy's Math was the first foreign language game for children released in 1994. The game was designed specifically for English-speaking children, and was based on the popular comic strip Peanuts. It was originally developed by SoftKey International, in cooperation with the strip’s publisher United Features Syndicate.
Yearn2Learn was intended to help children practice their math skills. It featured Snoopy as the main character, encouraging players to practice and master all sorts of math problems. Built into the game was an interactive tutorial system, with an intuitive user interface designed to make learning math easier and less intimidating. There were also mini-games and puzzles included, strategically placed to provide the perfect balance of enjoyment and education.
The graphics of Yearn2Learn were deliberate and eye-catching, designed to evoke the familiar comic strip themes of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. Snoopy was often shown in funny animations or images when he was teaching or explaining a point. The small animations were always humorous and entertaining, making the game engaging and enjoyable.
Many thought-provoking questions were included in the game, as well as helpful facts about math. As players worked their way through the missions, they were tested on their knowledge and rewarded when they answered questions correctly. This structure helped to motivate and encourage players to achieve success. Furthermore, the game allowed players to adjust the difficulty level to match their individual skill level.

Yearn2Learn: Master Snoopy's World Geography
Yearn2Learn: Master Snoopy's World Geography is a game that tries to teach children about geography.
There are two separate lessons in this game. The first teaches children about the stars of the United States, where they are and what they are called. The second teaches children about other countries in the world and where they are located.
The 'Geography Puzzle Game' is the game that teaches the states of the USA. It has two game modes, easy and hard. Both game modes divide the US states (i. e. not including Alaska and Hawaii) into four zones. The player selects a zone and is presented with a sliding tile puzzle in which the tiles are in the shape of the states in the selected zone. In easy mode, all the player has to do is place the tile in its correct position and the game will display and say the name of the state. When all the states have been placed correctly, Snoopy appears on the screen waving the United States flag and the music plays. In hard mode, the player places the state back in its correct position, after which the game displays a list of all the states in the area, so the player can choose the correct name of the state just placed.
The Great Country Shoot game takes place in a circus in front of a globe and is a game for 1 or 2 players. The player is asked to help one of the Snoopy characters find a country. The player jumps into a cannon, the globe rotates, the player clicks on a region with his mouse and the character is shot out of the cannon to parachute down to the selected location. If the player has selected the correct location, he receives a congratulatory message and the character is shown standing in the designated country.
The game mode changes according to the level reached by the player(s). At level 1, when the player is asked to locate a country, the correct region of the globe flashes red/green before the globe rotates, so all the player has to do is click on that region when it appears. In level 2 the player proceeds as in level 1, but when the region has been correctly selected the player must then select the correct country on the regional map. Level 3 is the same as level 2 but with a wider range of countries. Levels 4 to 7 have increasingly obscure countries to find and give no clue as to which region of the world they are in. There are ten questions per level and at the end of the level the player receives their score.
Yearn2Learn: The Flintstones Coloring Book
