A side-scrolling platform game that puts you in the shoes of a fallen soldier behind enemy lines. Fight the aliens and navigate the platforms to get home.

Inner Space is a horizontal side-scrolling shooter in which you control a spaceship and must obliterate wave after wave of alien ships across nine levels. At the end of each level there is a boss and they take a number of shots before you destroy them. If you touch any ship or bullet, you lose one of five lives and when all lives are gone it's game over. Each time you destroy a wave of ships, an icon scrolls across the screen and when you pick it up it gives you a better weapon. This is indicated by a row of icons below the play area and each time you pick up an icon the next one is highlighted. Press the space bar and the weapon will be used, but if you don't destroy a wave when an icon is highlighted, you will lose the chance to select it.
