Caverns of Sillahc

The Torms and the invading humans don't like each other. Looking for a quick buck they have decided to take both sides. The Torms have taken over the agricultural robots from the Humans, who want them back. The humans want the Torms' power plant destroyed, forcing them to come up to the surface. Your objective is to rescue the robots and navigate the subway caverns to destroy the power plant. The game is viewed from the side as you move your ship with the joystick. Gravity influences the ship and almost all of the environment is deadly to the touch, so regular upward thrust (which requires fuel) and careful steering are required. The ship is armed with a cannon to clear mines and clear blocked passages. You have to pay attention to how many robots you pick up: too many means you crash. Some of the robots on the landing pads must be delivered to double as fuel stops.

Empire of Karn

The king of Vorzdeshaa is planning to overthrow the Emperor of Karn. Since the Emperor does not want to go to war with his allied country, he sends you, an outsider from a different world, along with Darin, a descendant of Beren, one of the Heroes of Karn, to find a way to stop the treachery. Like its predecessor, Empire of Karn is an interactive fiction game with graphics. You can collect objects and use them to solve puzzles or give orders to your companions to help you in your quest.Unlike most other Interactive Fiction games of the time, Empire of Karn does not allow you to have conversations with NPCs or examine objects.

Heroes of Karn

Long ago, before the rise of the empire of Karn, evil creatures attacked the lands of Beren, the last of the Mountain Kings. Only four men, who would become known as the four Heroes of Karn, survived the massacre and managed to flee. However, they were soon captured and subjected to a spell. The player assumes the role of the legendary Outsider from 'a land where men can fly and machines can think', and must rescue the four heroes and recover the kingdom's treasures. Heroes of Karn is an interactive fiction game with graphics and, more unusually, music. You can type commands to manipulate objects, solve puzzles or attack enemies. Although it is not possible to have conversations with NPCs, you can give them commands to perform certain tasks.
