Doraon Neoguri is a Korean variant of the arcade game Ponpoko. The player guides a raccoon dog through a series of single-screen platforming stages. The goal in each stage is to eat all the fruits in it. Enemies move around and try to stop the greedy little animal from taking the fruits. Around many fruits there are also deadly spikes. Unidentified objects can contain bonus points, but they can also produce new enemies. The protagonist can climb ladders to access higher platforms and can also jump horizontally. Contact with an enemy or trap, as well as falling damage, will kill him instantly, forcing the player to retry the stage until the raccoon dog runs out of lives.
There are few differences in gameplay between this version and the arcade original. However, the levels have a different design, some graphics (such as the protagonist's sprite) have been redesigned, and the order of the fruits is also different.
