Weatherwar II
In this game, an improved clone of Ouranos, the warring sides once again settle their disputes with aggressive weather patterns. On opposite sides of the screen, two players with some influence over local weather conditions take turns assaulting each other's castles with their choice of hail, rain, lightning or tornadoes. These attacks emanate from a roving cloud that moves across the top of the screen, and must be directed by a numerical 'charge' value ranging from -150 (far left) to 150 (far right), in order to account for the changing wind speed and location of the cloud. The winner is the one who first completely destroys his opponent's abode.
Beyond the improved graphics (which are still represented with a text-mode character set, but now in stunning color), the main addition to this version is the Act of Nature, a random attack of a random weather type in a random location that sometimes occurs (and sometimes doesn't) between players' shots.
