Street Rod

DOS 1989
The year is 1963 and you are one of the big shots aspiring to be king of the county. You're given a small sum of money to buy your first car. You tune it up for maximum performance and hit the road. In the coffee shop, where the other 'hotshots' wait to take your prized possession, you compete for money and roadmaps and, if you win, you take home their cars. The game interface is relatively easy and fun to use. You have your own garage as your interface. Options are in the form of garage items like the clock for the main game menu and the newspaper as your source for buying cars and parts. Add to this a third person with an attitude who talks to you as you play, and it's a really cool idea, as no other racing game so far has that style. You feel like you are living a virtual world instead of just going from menu to menu. Another realistic part is the possibility to sell your car and bargain.

TrianGO

TrianGO is an action-packed DOS computer game released in 1989. Players take control of a small triangle-shaped character and must guide it through increasingly challenging levels. The game has a total of 32 levels, each with its own unique design and obstacles to overcome. The objective of TrianGO is to reach the end of each level safely. Along the way, players must navigate obstacles, such as spikes, moving platforms, and other deadly objects. As players progress, they will need to jump, dodge and maneuver their way through the levels. What makes the game particularly unique is that the character's triangle shape allows it to cling to walls and ceilings, making certain obstacles possible to pass. In addition to the main game, TrianGO includes several bonus levels. These bonus stages are randomly generated, and provide an extra challenge for experienced players. Bonus levels also offer special rewards, such as extra lives and bonus points. TrianGO can be enjoyed in either single-player or two-player mode. In two-player mode, players compete against each other on the same level, competing for the highest score. This adds an extra layer of competitiveness to the game, making it even more enjoyable. The controls in TrianGO are simple and intuitive. The game can be played with just a keyboard or a joystick, allowing players to quickly get the hang of the game. The game also runs well on low-end machines, making it a great choice for those with older computers. TrianGO is a classic DOS game that continues to be enjoyed by many people today. It offers an entertaining and challenging experience that is sure to keep players coming back for more.
