Hawk F-123

Hawk F-123 is a side-scrolling shooter game. There is no background story in the game and no cutscenes; the player pilots a fighter plane that flies over various areas, such as a desert, a sea, a city at night, and so on. Most of the enemies are different types of aircraft, although some stationary turrets also appear. The player-controlled fighter can collect power-ups that change its main weapon: red for a Vulcan cannon, yellow for energy beams and blue for lasers. Each of them increases its power (e. g. three lasers instead of one for the blue weapon) when the player repeatedly collects power-ups of the same color. Other power-ups add a secondary weapon or upgrade to any of those described above, such as guided missiles, fireballs, a co-pilot, etc. Secondary weapons fire simultaneously with the primary weapons. In addition, special weapons can be collected and accumulated. These weapons are activated by pressing a separate button, and include delayed bombs, explosive bullets, protective shields and others.
