Defender of The Crown

DOS 1987
Defender of The Crown puts the player in the role of one of four Saxon knights in medieval England, at a time when the land is in turmoil as the king has died and his crown has been stolen. The Saxons and Normans blame each other and fight for control of England. After a brief introduction by Robin of Locksley himself, the game begins with a single castle and 10 soldiers at your command. From there, you have to build your army, take control of additional territories and fight and defeat the three Norman lords, and sometimes your Saxon friends as well. Besides the basic 'build your army and conquer your opponents', the game offers several events and options that can be used to fine-tune your play style: You can participate in a jousting contest in which you have to knock your opponent off his horse, gaining fame or lands, or you can go raid a castle to get loot or the hand of a princess, uniting your houses and territories.

S.D.I.

DOS, Atari ST, Mac 1987
S. D. I. takes place in the year 2017 of an alternate timeline, in which the Soviet Union still existed and posed a threat to the countries of the free world. The United States launched another Strategic Defense Initiative, its commander-in-chief being General Sloan McCormick. A Soviet extremist group made up of KGB members has taken control of space launch facilities and has begun firing nuclear missiles at the United States. McCormick must do his duty, but his heart belongs to a woman who is on the opposite side. He controls a space fighter that attempts to neutralize the enemy missiles. He must also repair defense satellites and infiltrate enemy bases to rescue his beloved and save his nation and the world.

The King of Chicago

With Al Capone out of the game, Chicago's prohibition-era profits are at stake. Are you ruthless and cunning enough to pull it off by any means necessary? Every action you take has complex long-term consequences that are not always obvious at the time. You must keep your people on your side, watching what you say and do, knowing that an overthrow can be engineered at any moment. Take care of your wife too: who is going to respect a single mafioso? You have to juggle with money, not forgetting to reach an 'understanding' with the mayor to avoid any negative attention.
