Corporate Pursuit

Corporate Pursuit is an average business simulator that tries to simulate the IT industry, but doesn't quite succeed due to a dubious economic/pricing engine, and balanced gameplay. Your role is that of Marketing Director of a high-tech company, responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from production, to marketing and advertising. The game plays out with a lot of static, spreadsheet-style screens, like in the early Impressions titles (e. g. Detroit). This isn't bad in itself; what makes the game boring is that nothing seems to happen in the game. The actions of your opponents are more or less transparent, and there are few random events that make the game more exciting and difficult. I have noticed some behavior from computer players in the game, but other than that, they pose no real threat to your company. Overall, Corporate Pursuit is a game that isn't bad, but pales in comparison to genre classics like Capitalism Plus and Enterpreneur. It's worth a look only if you collect such games.
