Janosik
Janosik was not afraid to stand up to greedy nobles, avenging the cruelties they committed against the simple people living in the Carpathian Mountains. When the evil Baron Herburt learned of Janosik's love, Maryna, he captured her and imprisoned her in his castle, hoping to lure Janosik to certain death. It is up to the player whether Janosik will succeed in freeing Maryna and paying the baron for this feat, or fail miserably - hanging from a hook.
The game world is divided into forest, village and castle zones. Our hero is armed with a shepherd's ax, but he will also encounter other objects.
This platformer is based on the story of Juraj Jánošík, a Slovakian highlander of the XVII / XVIII century. Slovak, leader of the Carpathian bandits. In Poland, the legend was revived by a popular 1970s TV series, turning him into a fictional 19th century gallant folk hero, who only robs rich Austrian nobles to help the downtrodden local peasants, 'a la Robin Hood'.
