Nice computer version of the popular board game Pictionary. The principle of the game should be widely known: one player draws clues on a given expression, so that the other can guess the desired word(s). If you are joined by a couple of friends to play a round, it can be fun. Although, it gets boring very quickly playing alone with a computer drawer.
Pictionary is also a useful drawing application, by the way . . . sort of. ;) The drawing interface is decent, and the computer AI is up to par if you can't find any real-life friends to play with. However, it's a bit ironic to have computer players in this kind of game: their drawings are pre-programmed, so if you've seen it once, you can always guess the answers. Still, the game has plenty of pictures (words) of varying degrees of difficulty . . enough to provide more than a few fun play sessions. Recommended.
Based on the board game, the objective is to guess a word or phrase from a picture. There are five categories: Person/Place/Animal, Object, Action, a difficult puzzle category and an 'All Game' category. The amount of time to guess an answer can be modified.
These drawings are made using a cut-out variant of a paint packet, which you can practice with to hone your drawing skills. You are not limited to drawing freehand: lines, squares, circles and curves can be drawn, with varying ink colors and line thickness. After each question, the game will tell you the answer and ask which player (if any) got the correct answer. Pictionary can be played against the computer or with several players.
