Alien Drug Lords: The Chyropian Connection

Amiga 1991
Alien Drug Lords: The Chyropian Connection is a science fiction adventure game. You start on a spaceship docked on an alien world called Chyropia. From here, you must find your way to nearby Crystal City, where casinos, bars and backroom businesses take place. It is a dangerous and unforgiving place, with many opportunities for sudden death. Most of the screen is taken up by the present first-person scene, which is surrounded by an L-shaped GUI bar interface. There is a small compass rose in the bottom right corner, with arrow buttons to move to adjacent locations, and action buttons at the bottom and right edge of the screen, as well as information screens such as how much money you have Alien Drug Lords has three difficulty levels: 'New Adventurer', 'Experienced' and 'Suicide Agent'.

Fire-Brigade: The Battle for Kiev - 1943

The Fire Corps was the 48th Panzer Korps, which was heavily involved in the battle that this wargame recreates: Operation Barbarossa, Germany's attempted offensive in Russia during World War II. The game recreates the situations on 3 dates of the attack, and you can play in any of them from any side. You have a number of units under your command, as although the battle was largely tank-based, infantry and air units were also involved. Units can be told what positions to occupy, and whether to defend a point or consciously aim to attack it. The game's AI incorporates the importance of bridges, rivers and forests as strategic points, and your units can be subject to fatigue.
