Glib
Shuffle the letters in the top row to create the words in the bottom row. If all the spaces in the bottom row are pink or red, the dots for that word are doubled or tripled, respectively. Also, if there is a blue or light blue line below the spaces, the dots for that letter are doubled or tripled, respectively. Once you have created a word, go to the E button and press the red joystick button once. If the word is right, press the button again to accumulate points and move to the next round; if not, press the P button to pass and move to the next round. Play until you reach 14 rounds in the single-player game and 7 rounds in the two-player game.
Difficulty switch
Use the switch on the left to set the number of players as B for 1 player and A for 2 players.
Game variations
There are five games, each with five skill levels.
The skill level depends on the time it takes to make a word.
Skill levels for single player games
Skill level 1 = unlimited time (no clock)
Skill level 2 = 132 seconds
Skill level 3 = 39 seconds
Skill level 4 = 26 seconds
Skill level 5 = random time
For two players, the time is half that of a single player.
The games are
Game 1 (Cardboard). After each round, all letters are shuffled to obtain a new set of 7 letters. Unused letters are put back together.
Game 2 (Skill Builder). Only the letters used to build the word are replaced. Unused letters remain in the previous space.
Game 3 (Times Up). You are given only seven letters. You have to form as many words as possible using these 7 letters.
Game 4 (Encore). All the letters in the top row move to the right, the last letter disappears and a new letter is placed in the top row. The last letter disappears and the new letter takes the first place. Unused letters will reappear randomly.
Game 5 (Over the Edge). Same as game 4, but the missing letter does not reappear.
