Metal Angel is a management simulation game that takes place in the futuristic society of 2014, where fights between fighters in mechanized suits have become a major sporting event. The player takes control of a coach who must train five young women from different backgrounds, who aspire to become professional wrestlers. The coach's statistics are generated by answering a series of questions at the beginning of the game. Each of the girls also has her own stats, which must be carefully controlled. With the exception of automated events, the game consists of creating schedules for all the girls for a week in advance, and then watching their attributes change. Activities include battle training, gymnastics, running, resting, etc. All activities are displayed as small animated segments on the same screen.
