Black Box is a cool PC version of a 1978 Parker Brothers board game of the same name that emphasizes logical deduction.
A sort of 3D version of Mastermind, your goal in this game is to find balls hidden in a 'Black Box' by shooting beams of light into it. As the crystal balls reflect the shots, you have to watch where your shots leave the box (or if they don't) to deduce the location of the balls. The challenge is to correctly deduce the locations with the fewest number of light rays. This free PC version of Michael Haugrud offers dozens of fun levels with an intuitive player interface. If you like logic puzzles that don't require reflexes to solve, Black Box will entertain you for hours on end, even if the gameplay is a bit repetitive. thumbs up!
