Autobahn Tokio is a racing game released only in Japan for the 3DO. Players can choose from four unnamed cars with different characteristics, loosely based on real car models. Three circuits are available: a city at night, a coastal road and a forest track. Players compete against a CPU opponent, while trying to reach the checkpoints in the shortest possible time. Each car has automatic and manual transmissions. Cars cannot be tuned and there is no two-player option. Despite being released only in Japan, all menus and text in the game are in English.
