Super Action Ball

DOS 1995
Super Action Ball is a Korean-made arcade-style, humorous soccer (soccer) game. Teams of four players compete in small stadiums. Although the background graphics suggest outdoor areas, the ball can bounce off the boundaries of the field and is physically unable to leave it. Most of the rules and features of soccer (offside, corner kicks, etc. ) are omitted, along with passing, tackling, and kicking the ball. There is also no half-time; the player can determine the duration of the game, which ranges from three to twelve minutes. Contrary to the rules of normal soccer, the game allows kicking and tackling players who are not in possession of the ball. Players lose hit points and are incapacitated for a short period of time. In addition, harmful objects can be thrown onto the field, and some of the stadiums contain traps. All players are either 'superdeformed' humans or small monsters; any lineup of these can be chosen to form a team. The game can be played by two human opponents, or against computer AI.
