Frantic Freddy
A tall building is on fire, and while all the human inhabitants seem to be safe, their cats are trapped in the flames. It's up to brave firefighter Frantic Freddy to save all the cats, floor by floor.
Frantic Freddy is an arcade action game in which Freddy must run back and forth on the ground, dodging falling trash while shooting water at the flames in the windows of a building. When all the fires are extinguished, the game advances to the next floor, where Freddy can climb between floors, shooting left and right instead of up. In these levels, there are two types of flames: red and purple. The purple ones are more aggressive and follow Freddy all over the screen, and can only be extinguished once all the red ones are extinguished. The game progresses in this way, alternating upward shooting levels and sideways shooting levels.
In the higher difficulty levels, cats appear at intervals in the windows, falling out after a while. Freddy must catch the cats or he loses a life. He also loses a life if he is hit by fire or falling garbage.
