Spider-Man
One of the city's biggest criminal masterminds, Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin, has pulled off the ultimate plot. He announces to New York that a bomb has been planted somewhere in the city, and that it will detonate in 24 hours. To make matters worse, he blames it on Spider-Man, and now the wrestler is alone and on the run from the police. Spidey smells a rat and knows what he must do.
Spider-Man has 24 hours to find and defuse the bomb. He must also clear his name, so he grabs his camera to take convincing photos for his Spider-Man hating boss, J. Jonah Jameson, and the police, to prove his innocence. Along the way, he may also encounter some of his old enemies, including Dr. Octopus, Electro, the Lizard, the Sandman, the Goblin, Venom and, finally, the Kingpin himself.
Thumbelina
Thumbelina is an educational game released in 1994 for Windows 3.x. This colorful, interactive point-and-click adventure follows the classic Hans Christian Andersen story. Players take on the role of Thumbelina and navigate through a dangerous world full of danger and intrigue.
The story begins with Thumbelina's mother giving her a mysterious seed that will bloom into a beautiful flower. Alas, the seed is stolen by a wicked witch just as it is about to bloom. Being the plucky heroine that she is, Thumbelina sets off on an adventure to reclaim her seed. On the way, she will the face the treacherous elements of nature and meet a variety of magical characters.
Every step of her journey, players take over the role of Thumbelina to help her make her way back home. Players solve puzzles to progress through the story, all the while developing skills such as hand-eye coordination and problem-solving. With each level comes a new set of challenges and exciting new environments to explore.
The game uses beautiful hand-painted scenery and whimsical music to bring the story to life. It also features an array of entertaining minigames to keep players engaged and challenge them to push their problem-solving skills to the limit.
Throughout her adventure, Thumbelina will explore beautiful forests, snowy mountains, and dark caves. Players must strategically navigate mazes, collect items, and avoid hazards. There are many opportunities for Thumbelina to shine - however, failure to act quickly may bring an end to the journey.
