The alien creatures are vividly designed, and the environment is richly detailed, making for an immersive gaming experience. The game also features an impressive soundtrack, which adds to the overall atmosphere and creates a sense of tension and mystery. Rat Hotel

VIC-20 1983
In Rat Hotel the player takes control of a rat and has to eat cheese while not getting caught by Waldo, a maintenance man who hates rats. It takes place in the Paradisio Hotel and on each of the floors of the hotel the rat has to eat all the pieces of cheese in order to take the elevator to the next floor. At the same time he has to keep an eye on Waldo and the traps he has placed all over the hotel. Any contact with Waldo or a trap will cause one of the three lives to be lost, but an extra one is awarded after 10,000 points. There is also a time limit, as the rat only has three minutes to get from the top floor to the bottom floor. The color of the cheese changes over time and it is important not to eat it when it is black, as it paralyzes the rat. However, when it turns blue it is worth twice as many points as orange. Once the rat has eaten the big cheese in the basement the level will be completed and you will move on to a more difficult level. The difficulty level can also be chosen before starting the game.

Skibbereen

VIC-20 1982
Skibbereen is a two-player Breakout game (Pong with bricks is another way to describe it) based on Irish folklore. Each player uses a paddle to move a bat up and down and uses it to hit a ball. Both have a set of bricks to protect and behind them is also a pot of gold that is worth much more when hit. The player who first destroys the opponent's bricks, as well as the pot of gold, wins the game. But to complicate matters there are also snakes that sometimes enter the screen. You have to avoid them, as hitting them three times is game over for both players. The game has nine difficulty levels that differ in ball speed and snakes. The game has no AI opponents so it cannot be played solo (unless the player wants to control both paddles).
