Bad Company

The plot of 'Bad Company' is quickly told: Earth is dying and humanity needs new worlds to colonize, the Nu-Worlds. You and your (optional) partner are on a mission to cleanse these worlds of hostile alien insectoids. 'Bad Company' is played in a pseudo-3D (third person) view that looks a lot like the Space Harrier games. Before you start playing you will have to choose one of the eight soldiers offered as a player character. This decision will influence the game later on, for example, you won't be able to carry a specific weapon or your character is particularly fast, etc. As for the action, you will face different types of aliens, including 'level bosses', and fight them using one of the four available weapon systems (equipment can be changed during the course of the game). You have full control of your character's movement, which means that the screen does not automatically scroll as in other similar games. You can also take cover behind certain obstacles or choose to blow them up. The game takes place in four levels (the four Nu-Worlds).

Fire and Brimstone

The Norse realm is threatened by the wicked Hel, goddess of Niflheim and purveyor of evil. Thor, the great god of law and order, has been selected by his fellow gods to travel across four Norse worlds in an attempt to stop Hel from spreading evil and ruling his people. The journey will be long and arduous. Hel has sent creatures to meet Thor, delay his advance and kill him. A variety of traps and pitfalls await him. To travel between worlds, Thor must collect the four segments of a key that will open the exit door. One of the segments is located inside a building, the rest are out in the open. If he does not find all the segments of the key when he reaches the exit door, then he returns to the beginning of the world to search for the segments he has lost. Hel's creatures will try to stop you, but you can engage them using a variety of weapons, such as fireballs and axes, and you can carry two weapons simultaneously, being able to switch between them at any time. Potions can be obtained by destroying the flying creatures that fly from one side of each screen to the other. At the end of each world, Thor must defeat a much larger creature to reach the exit door.

James Pond 2: Codename: RoboCod

James Pond 2: Codename: RoboCod, released in 1993, is a sidescrolling platformer game developed by Millennium Interactive and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released for DOS, Amiga, and Sega Genesis. The player controls James Pond, a fish-like secret agent, who must stop the villain, Dr. Maybe, from taking over the world. James Pond can swim and jump, and can shoot bubbles at enemies. The game is divided into five worlds, each with multiple levels. In the first world, Pond must rescue hostages from a building. In the second world, he must stop a conveyor belt from delivering bombs to a city. In the third world, he must destroy a factory that is polluting the water. In the fourth world, he must rescue animals from a laboratory. In the fifth and final world, he must stop Dr. Maybe from launching a rocket. James Pond 2 is a challenging game that will keep players engaged for hours. The game's colorful graphics and catchy music are also sure to please.

James Pond: Underwater Agent

James Pond' is (obviously) a parody of the famous Agent 007 stories. You control Pond, a fish-like creature, who has to complete various missions, while making his way through levels full of dangers and hostile creatures. It's not your typical 'jump and run' game: instead of traversing large levels, Pond has to complete missions unique to each area of the game: free hostages, detonate a structure, find keys, etc. It is only possible to exit a level after completing the objective. Many missions are timed.

Rolo to the Rescue
