Artman's Goplanes!

DOS 1997
Goplanes is a Sopwith-inspired four-way shooter that puts you at the controls of an old-school early 20th century fighter plane with the general goal of blowing things up. Your plane is capable of flashy (but useful) moves: climbing, diving, flipping, and 360-degree turns; enemy fire can take it out in three hits, but so can the ground. In addition to the basic front-mounted cannon, various weapons can be picked up for more firepower: missiles, scatter shots, and drop bombs. Three missions are included: first, you'll have to find and destroy some oil containers; then shoot down some zeppelins; and finally, a snow battle against a heavy artillery unit. As in Sopwith, there are also innocent bystanders, but here you earn points by shooting down the poor wretches. . . whether they are humans or animals.
