Description Dinosaur Discovery

Dinosaur Discovery is an educational game developed for schools. Teachers use the game along with teaching materials to teach an interwoven course based on English, mathematics, science, drama and art. From the situations given in the game, students can perform tasks in the classroom based on the game's story.

Players begin the game in a shed, where they must decide which tools they take with them to use in the game environment and which they leave behind (although they can return to the shed at any time and change them). As they explore the world, they will encounter situations based on basic English (such as word searches), compass reading, telling time, and learning the scale of a map. Clues are given to them through the game's museum and an old hermit, who tells them about an ancient explorer trying to hatch dinosaurs on a distant, isolated island.

The game also includes a diary of the explorer for students to read. This journal provides information about the teacher's journey through the various environments in the game. It also tells of his encounter with the hermit and how he succumbs to illness. The last entry has a different handwriting than the rest of the journal, and is from the hermit, who writes that the professor died the night before and has buried him in the desert.
