Description Disposable Hero
This horizontally scrolling R-Type influenced shooter features 5 levels that you must traverse, with bosses at the end of each level, as well as difficult mini-bosses as you traverse them. There are four difficulty levels, with the easiest being the one that serves as a trainer, as you can't reach the final level or complete the game correctly with it. You can customize the exact volume of the music and sound effects, and there are many subtle visual effects, such as a haze of smoke billowing from your ship as it takes damage.
The game's power-up system is worth mentioning. Rather than just collecting new weapons, or general purpose tokens that can be swapped out with the press of a button, you collect blueprints for a total of 32 different weapons, as well as upgrades for the maximum amount of power your ship can unleash at a time. Once you reach a power-up bay (which are represented as blue domes at the base of the level), you can add or remove weapons to maximize your attack capabilities.
