Egyptian Challenge

Egyptian Challenge is a video game in the puzzle genre developed by BEENERGY Entertainment and published by Crystal Interactive Software, Inc. originally released in 2001. It is currently playable on Windows.

Egyptian Challenge is a clone of Columns. Like that classic, rows of three jewels fall from the top of the screen and must be arranged to match three or more of the same type.

The screen is divided into two fields, with each side dedicated to a player. The enemies can be the computer or the other players. At the top of the field is a tab where power-ups can be saved as hieroglyphs for later use. Power-ups can be collected by playing several games simultaneously, called combos.

Power-ups are collected and used automatically. They are divided into four groups: attack, defense, attack and defense, and the winner is the one who controls that level. Jewel rain (4-5 jewel combinations) drops jewels on the enemy's field. Freeze (6-7 matches) freezes some of the enemy's jewels in ice for a set amount of time. Vanish (8 hits) removes some jewels from the field. Powerful stone (10 hits) drops a stone on the enemy's field.
