Description Escape from the Mindmaster
You have been kidnapped! Kidnapped! Shanghaied! You find yourself in a huge maze guarded by the Mindmaster. He is putting your intelligence, reflexes, agility, etc. to the test. Your honor and that of the entire human race depends on how quickly you can solve the Mindmaster's puzzles and six mazes.
You start in maze one. You must go through the maze and find colored and shaped pegs, and then find the correct shaped hole to put it in. To top it off, there is an Alien Stalker wandering around the maze and if it touches you, you lose an opportunity. You can tell how close it is by the beeping sound it emits. The faster and louder it is, the closer it is. It can't go through walls or doors. Also, starting from maze two, there are force fields in the maze that if you touch them, you lose a chance. There are also one-way doors from maze four onwards. If you go through one and turn around, there is no going back. You can never go through a door when you turn back.
There are also skill tests in mazes one through five that you can complete for points. They are as follows:
Maze 1: Agility - Move the cursor from side to side to avoid falling bricks. Reach all four collisions and the test is done.
Maze 2: Reflexes - Press your joystick in the direction of the arrow.
Maze 3: Memory - Watch the sequence of flashing arrows and then move your joystick in the same sequence.
Maze 4: Dexterity - Same as the agility test, except the test ends if you are hit once.
Maze 5: Coordination - Land a lander on a platform without using too much fuel. You have up to five attempts.
You start each maze with sixty points and every few seconds one point is deducted. The total score for each maze is the score you got in the skill test plus whatever is left over from the initial sixty when you exit the maze. If you miss all your chances or finish maze six, you get your final score and the Mindmaster's impression of you and the human race.
