Description ESWAT: City under Siege
The city is besieged by wanted criminals, and as a police officer it is your duty to stop them. The first criminals on the wanted list can be stopped with your service weapon and some quick reactions, but once you take on the toughest criminals in town you will have to use the cyber suit, which provides additional protection and increased firepower. You start as a normal cop, but after completing two levels you can join the ESWAT (Enhanced Special Weapons and Tactics) division and gain access to their specialized armor.
Unlike other versions of this game, this Genesis cartridge does not follow the design of the arcade game. The levels, instead of being linear, feature some platforming elements, and the enemies in the early levels are no longer bank robbers or hitmen, but soldiers and robots. And the setting is no longer the typical American city, but a futuristic megalopolis.
