Fatman: The Caped Consumer

Fatman: The Caped Consumer is a video game in the action genre developed by I/O Product and published by Black Legend Ltd. originally released in 1994. It is currently playable on DOS, Amiga.

One night, when Roy Fat was at home, thugs from the evil Thindicate corporation kidnap Roy's old lady while she is watching TV, and the only way for Roy to get her back is to trade her for the Duplicator, and the complete documentation that goes with it.

The game consists of seven stages, and there are three levels in the first stage, and only two in the rest. The object of the game is to eat all the food in the level. Once Roy has eaten all the food, a tone will sound, which means that the door leading Roy to the next level will open. What prevents him from doing so are insects and other wild animals, such as rats, birds, bats and many more. However, Roy is able to solve this by using a variety of weapons such as his foot, his fat belly, carrots, mushroom bombs and my personal favorite, his burp. He can also jump in the air and land on his butt to get rid of enemies.

If he touches an enemy, he loses one of his lives. If he loses all lives, the game ends. Once Roy has collected all the food in a stage, he has to face a boss that is usually much bigger than him. Fatman can also pass flags, which allows him to continue where he left off if he loses a life. In addition to enemies, you have to watch out for other hazards, such as spikes, spiked balls, water and fire.
