Description Federation
Federation of Free Traders is a space exploration-simulation game quite similar to an earlier title, Elite. The player can move through space while trading goods, undertaking missions, or simply exploring the galaxy (which consists of over 8 million planets).
There is a wealth of playable options in FOFT and considerable attention to detail. For example, if the player tires of wandering through outer space, they can graze a planet or two (which plays similarly to David Braben's other game, Virus).
During the docking sequence, players can create their own programs for the automated functions, using a built-in BASIC-like language called SIMPLE.
