FIFA Manager 07 is a video game in the strategy genre developed by Bright Future GmbH and published by Electronic Arts, Inc. originally released in 2006. It is currently playable on Windows.

In 2006, EA Sports released their soccer management title, FIFA Manager 07. It was the fifth game in the franchise, and it was designed with the objective of being the most complete soccer manager game to date.

The gameplay of FIFA Manager 07 was tuned to give players the most realistic view of soccer managing possible. It is shouldered by a slew of different features and intuitive functions that would satisfy even the die-hard soccer manager fan.

The game provided players the same duties as real-life soccer managers, from squad building and training to contract negotiation and youth exploration. Players could build up their own clubs, compete in leagues, and take part in hundreds of international competitions. The players, highlights, and club stadiums were 3D modeled to stay true to real life.

Among the most impressive features was the ‘match logic’. This enabled players to choose a strategy for their squad that would affect the way the players would interact with each other on the pitch. This opened the game up to new strategies and styles that weren’t seen in previous editions.

The ‘business side’ was also addressed in FIFA Manager 07. Players could view their squad’s finances over time and invest in areas such as training facilities and stadium capacity. This encouraged players to make investments while also balancing their budget.

All in all, FIFA Manager 07 improved on the series even more than before. It offered loyal fans of the series the chance to become more involved with the soccer-managing process, while integrating intuitive features and new strategies. The game’s success would only be overshadowed by further iterations of the hit series.
