Fire Fly is a video game in the action genre developed by Mythicon, Inc. and published by Mythicon, Inc. originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
After your interplanetary ship accidentally dives into a black hole, you find yourself on another world. This world is inhabited by strange mechanical insect-like creatures. You discover that in this world there are bad bugs and good bugs, and when the good bugs ask for your help, you decide to protect them. Your first challenge is to rescue the pixie. The pixies are the last creatures on this planet and they are protected by killer bees. Once you have rescued the goblin, you must fight a series of enemies, such as flaming pumpkins, demons and coiled snakes. Each time you defeat a creature on the screen, you scroll to the right and a new challenge (bonus) awaits you. Once you clear all the bad bug screens, the game repeats at a harder difficulty level.
