Flag Capture is a video game in the puzzle genre developed by Atari, Inc. and published by Atari, Inc. originally released in 1978. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
Flag Capture is an action and strategy game for one or two players. Your goal is to find a flag hidden somewhere in the 9x7 grid. Move the scout with the joystick and press the button on any square to see if there is a flag on that square and, if not, to get a clue about the location of the flag. In the single player game, the objective is to find as many flags as possible within the 75 second time limit. The 2-player games are available in several varieties. In the 'all versus all' mode, two players can move through the squares at the same time, and the first to find a flag scores a point. In other two-player games, players take turns moving around the grid. Skill levels can control how fast players move, set and move flags, and add invisible walls around the playing field.
