Description Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball

Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball for Game Boy and Game Gear adapts the gameplay and options of the console versions to the capabilities of portable systems.

Although based on the 1995 MLB season, the game is not licensed by MLB, so no actual team names are used. It does, however, have an MLBPA license, so it features real player names and their associated statistics.

The game has six different modes: Exhibition games, a Full Season (either the 162 games originally scheduled, the 144-game schedule that was actually used due to the player strike, or several shortened runs), the Playoffs, the All-Star game, as well as the Home Run Derby and a batting practice mode. Season and Playoff statuses are saved via passwords.

On the field, players will control pitching, fielding and hitting. The game also allows players to set team lineups and positions.
