Description Frankenstein
Baron Frankenstein has commissioned his hunchbacked servant Egor to collect tools and bodies to use in his attempt to create artificial life. In the role of Egor, the player must search through Frankenstein's castle, dungeons, the surrounding forest, the local village and other areas in this side-scrolling platformer. Despite the grim theme, the game is a humorous cartoon.
Each task begins in Frankenstein's laboratory with the Baron telling Egor what object he needs. Egor must find it, put it in his sack and return to the lab to receive the next task. Along the way there are enemies such as ghosts, skeletons, rats, bats, animated body parts, townspeople and others. Instead of a health bar, Egor has a Frightometer with a range from calm to panic. As he touches enemies, he moves further and further towards the maximum. Once reached, Egor will drop what he is carrying, flee to the lab, and lose a life. However, there is a way to reduce the meter: meeting with the local maid will calm Egor's nerves and bring it back to zero. It also resets to zero when an object is delivered.
Once Egor has found and returned the weather chart requested by Frankenstein, the game introduces a time limit. The timer starts at about 74 minutes and counts down to the thunderstorm that will bring the monster to life. If you fail to collect all the necessary objects within the limit, the game ends.
