Future Classics Collection

Future Classics Collection is a video game in the action genre developed by Echidna and published by LIVE Studios, Inc. originally released in 1990. It is currently playable on DOS, Amiga.

The Future Classics Collection is a collection of five differently themed games that emphasize action and strategy alike. The programmers of the games had previously worked for Cinemaware and MicroProse.

The gameplay of the five games is varied:

DiskMan: Back up your computer's disks; collect as many disks as you can, avoiding all the hazards along the way and inserting the disks into the disk drive to open the exit to the next level.

Tankbattle: Battle your way through a battlefield to capture the opponent's shield and open the exit to the next level. Avoid turrets, bombs and other obstacles.

Lost 'N Maze: Quickly navigate the maze corridors until you locate the keys to the exit. Collect various power-ups and bonus points along the way.

Diet Riot: Put all the junk food stores out of business by having your man collect all the boxes of food from each store and throw them in the dumpster. Beware of junk food: eating it slows you down and threatens you with a heart attack; you can 'work out' by using the exercise equipment to speed up again, as well as eating healthy food.

Blockalanche: A Tetris clone with isometric view, with the differences of being able to select your next piece (if you are fast enough) and being able to rotate your block only around one axis.

The game options are also quite varied: Each game can be played by a single player, by two players alternately, by two players simultaneously, or by one player against one of three computer personalities - including split-screen play for head-to-head competition.

It is possible that we have multiple downloads available when different versions exist.
