Gee Bee Air Rally adds another dimension to car racing, literally, as the action takes place in the sky. It aims for the feel of pioneering 250 mph airplane-to-airplane racing in the valleys of the American South among brave but honest men in goggles, a sort of Mille Miglia in the sky.
The game consists of 16 courses, bounded by giant suspended cones, each of which must be completed within a time limit, avoiding contact with the other planes. You must stay inside the cones, any time spent outside of them will cause the allotted time to be reduced to a prohibitive speed (so don't even think about shortcutting the track). After every second successful run, you move on to a bonus track, where you must hit balloons to score points.
