Description Glider Pilot

Glider Pilot is a flight simulator that lets you try to fly a glider around a 100 mile course before landing. Before flying you can choose five weather levels (1 is the easiest) or adjust various weather parameters yourself. To start flying the course and start the timer, you have to cross the runway underneath and then you have to try to turn at two points on the airfield before trying to land on the runway. Since the glider has no engine, you have to use thermals, which is hot air that rises to keep you in the air. The thermals are invisible, so the position of the Cumulus clouds in the distance gives an indication of where the thermals are.

The game is viewed from a first-person perspective. In addition to the main game area, you have several instruments to help you in your flight. Airspeed, compass, variometer (rate of climb or descent), nose angle, altitude, time and a course map. The joystick or keyboard is used to control your glider.
