Description Glizda

Glizda is a Snake/Nibbles variant with multiple innovative features. The player-controlled snake moves around the playing field (the size of a screen) and lengthens itself by eating various foods lying around; instead of appearing randomly like Nibbles, it eats all the pre-placed foods and counts down If you reach the exit before the timer reaches zero, the level is cleared.

In addition, more puzzle-like elements are introduced, such as 'impassable walls', which turn the field into a maze, and 'bonus objects', which the snake pushes to open a passage or two blocks together for more points. Special objects, when collected, also have various effects, such as permanently reducing the snake's length or temporarily granting it the ability to pass through solid walls.

Glizda comes with 50 pre-made levels, divided into five episodes of 10 levels each, and a level and episode editor for users to create their own campaigns (up to 100 levels). The game is available for free download from the author's website, along with all the source code.
