Global War is a tactical game. The player is the leader of a nuclear empire and faces four countries for world domination. The player's task is to lead his own state to victory by annihilating the other countries. Each leader can use conventional weapons, nuclear weapons and propaganda attack. A player can do only one thing each turn. After the end of the turn the game switches to the world map to show the activities of all commanders in the form of animations and messages. The game ends when the same state is maintained on the battlefield.
