G.Nius

G.Nius is a video game in the action genre and published by Lankhor originally released in 1988. It is currently playable on Amiga, Atari ST.

In G. Nius the player takes the role of G. Nius, a robot, who has crashed with his spaceship. Now he has to escape from the ship before it vaporizes. Unfortunately, he is at the bottom of the ship, the escape is at the top and the elevator does not work. To activate the elevator, G. Nius has to visit all the rooms on a floor and destroy the switches. This procedure must be repeated on each floor.

Several obstacles try to impede his progress: traps, falling debris and havoc security robots cause his energy to decrease when touched. If it reaches zero, you lose one of your three lives. An additional problem is the holes in the ground that return G. Nius to a lower floor when falling into them. Additional ammunition for your gun and energy can be obtained by killing the security bots. An alternative way to get rid of them is to activate the magnets that trap them on the wall of the ship. The rooms, which are shown in a half-isometric perspective, are randomly split when you start a new game, but there is also a save option available.
