In Golden Gate, explore present-day San Francisco to discover an ancient treasure hidden there years ago.
The game has a point-and-click interface, is explored in first-person perspective, and includes a small number of adventure-type puzzles.
Scenes of San Francisco are drawn in watercolor and appear in 'slide' form. The game is similar to a treasure hunt in that you have to thoroughly investigate the scenes to find all the clues and objects. The moving video scenes advance the story.
