Graham Taylor's Soccer Challenge is a video game in the strategy genre developed by Krisalis Software Ltd. and published by Krisalis Software Ltd. originally released in 1992. It is currently playable on Amiga, Atari ST.
Although Graham Taylor was England's international soccer manager at the time this game was released, the player starts his management career managing in the third tier of the league, and has to work his way up, either by improving his squad (as Taylor did in his successful spell at Watford, which he took from the fourth tier of English soccer to the top flight and the FA Cup final) or by doing well enough to earn a job elsewhere. Once you manage to finish in the top 5 in the league, you get a password to load the international management game, similar to many of Dinamic's games.
Standard soccer management game features are included, such as player transfers, team selection and training organization. You have a team of scouts that you can send out to research other clubs, which will give you ideas about possible signings and help you plan future matches. A full squad of young players who could aspire to the first team is also available.
You can interact directly with your players, and also receive media reports evaluating your team's performance. The matches are represented by fully animated sequences, with a visual level comparable to that of Krisalis arcade soccer games.
