Ground Zero is a video game in the action genre and published by Hot Shot Telespiele originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
Ground Zero is a direct clone of River Raid. The player controls an airplane, which moves from left to right and moves steadily forward. The enemies are various jet skis, arriving from one side of the screen or moving from above. Killing them with the plane's weapon earns points, and crashing into them kills them. The planes have limited fuel and will run out over time, but can be refilled by collecting fuel packs.
