Guardian is an arcade action game for one or two players. You are in a galactic war and an enemy ship called Dromeda is attacking your home planet, so you have to defend it. Planets are at the top or bottom of the screen, and you defend them with shields. The Dromeda is in the center of the screen and will fire explosives at the planet. You control the spaceship, which is your last hope to save the planet. Unfortunately, the ship's lasers cannot reach the Dromeda, so you have to shoot more and more explosives. If you miss an explosive, part of the shield will be destroyed. If you make a big hole, the explosives can pass through and destroy the whole planet. The game ends when all the planets are destroyed.
